Supplication to seek for Protection against The loss of graces and wellness

All praises be to Allah, the Lord of the universe, peace and prayer be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his companions.

There is another brief supplication that is meaningful, taken from the book of “Riyadush Sholihin” by An Nawawi, that is the supplication for protection from the loss of graces and illness.

From Abdullah Ibn Umar, he said, “Among the supplication of the Messenger of Allah -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- is this:

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّى أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ زَوَالِ نِعْمَتِكَ وَتَحَوُّلِ عَافِيَتِكَ وَفُجَاءَةِ نِقْمَتِكَ وَجَمِيعِ سَخَطِكَ

“ALLOOHUMMA INNII A’UUDZU BIKA MIN ZAWAALI NI’MATIK, WA TAHAWWULI AAFIYATIK, WA FUJAA’ATI NIQMATIK, WA JAMII’I SAKHOTHIK.” [O Allah, verily I seek protection from You, from the loss of graces You’ve given me, and from the changing of wellness You’ve granted, from Your sudden chastisement, and from all kinds of Your wrath.] (Narrated by Muslim, in hadith no. 2739)

Broker in Trading Contract with different Currency

Question:

Assalamu’alaikum.

I need an advice for I am not a knowledgeable one..

I plan to start a business of women’s bags, wallets, and watches, by showing a catalogue / website link of the goods owner and giving a 10% discount from the written price for the buyers. I don’t have the goods yet, but the goods owner said that they’ll give a 20% discount for me, thus the profit for me from the transaction will be 10%. Is it lawful to have this kind of business? For your information, I currently live in Qatar. If I sell the goods here in Qatar Riyal, while the exchange rate between Rupiah-Dollar/Riyal is unstable, how can I determine an appropriate and lawful exchange rate for me?

May Allah reward you with goodness.

Wassalamu’alaikum.

Is it allowed to lend money from Bank to build mosque?

Is it allowed to lend money from Bank to build mosque?

Question:

We are a group of immigrant from Morocco who are currently living in Germany and we have a place that we rent, and we use it to perform the five congregational prayers, Friday prayer and the ied prayer. And due to the great number of people who pray there -all praises be to Allah- the German government ban us to pray there, saying that the place is too narrow and inappropriate to be used to pray. Now we plan to to buy a wide place out of town, and the german government has permitted us to buy it. The cost is 3,5 million Marks, and our current fund is just 1,5 million Marks. Is it allowed for us to lend the remains of fund from Bank by paying some interest, in order to buy that place, and is it considered as emergency ? And if it is already bought using usury money, may we pray in it, until we find another place to pray in this country? Please give us an answer. May Allah rewards you with kind rewards.
